frequently asked
questions

1. ZenSpire, who is it for?

Zenspire® is not connected, and with its single on/off button, it is very simple to use.
Whatever your age (from 3 years old), it adapts to all your needs: with a single press of a finger, you decide, in your bed, at work, on the subway,... to take control of your stress and sleep.

2. How does it work?

Breathing deeply and fully in a state of cardiac coherence is a simple, quick, and effective solution for regulating heart rate.
This naturally induces a state of recentering, physiological and emotional stability, leading to a feeling of calm.
The heart, immediately soothed by this regular breathing, calms down. It thus transmits a reassuring message of calm to the brain: "everything is fine, no stress"! It's simple, but you still need to breathe at the right rhythm.
To guide you, your ideal companion will be ZenSpire®, your breathing coach.

3. Why does this work better with ZenSpire?

It's not easy to practice guided Cardiac Coherence breathing by counting in your head or on your fingers.
Have you ever tried it?
It is also strongly advised against using an application because many studies highlight the harmful effects of smartphones before going to sleep.
It offers several ways to guide your breathing:
Light, sound, and vibration.
Indeed, these modes allow you to close your eyes to concentrate more easily on your breathing; your mind is like short-circuited, intrusive thoughts and ruminations, often responsible for stress and insomnia, fade away. Within a few minutes, the flow of thoughts diminishes, and your mind lets go.
Zenspire® is not connected and works without Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
The sound mode and vibratory mode are the most effective.

4. Why is it even better in vibration mode?

It's even better because we're the only ones to offer it 🙂.
By taking your Zenspire, with your eyes closed, and placing it on your abdomen with both hands on it; the gentle vibration that guides your breathing will induce a massaging and relaxing effect that promotes relaxation and calmness. This is a real plus for letting go more quickly.
This vibration also activates the many acupuncture points located in the palm of our hand and actively stimulates the stomach, our second brain.

5. Oops, I can't fall asleep...

If you have significant sleep problems, we advise you to practice a "Relax" program session before going to bed: 5s inspiration/5s expiration, then once in bed, you can switch to the "Sleep" program: 4s inspiration/6s expiration.
By gradually lengthening your exhalation compared to your inhalation, you will get closer to your goal of synchronizing with the Zenspire® rhythm.
Sleep is a complex subject, and no two cases of insomnia are alike.
Allow yourself time to assimilate the change. Be kind to yourself and persevere for several days! The results will soon follow!

6. How to breathe with ZenSpire?

We recommend inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth. While focusing on the light, sound, or vibratory signal, direct your attention to your abdominal area and listen to the air entering and leaving.
Whatever mode you choose, when you concentrate on your breathing in this way, the mind is, so to speak, short-circuited; intrusive thoughts and rumination, often responsible for stress and insomnia, recede.
Within a few minutes, the flow of thoughts decreases and your mind lets go.
